We pickup and recycle your old furniture. If you also have old mattresses or box springs to recycle, we take those too. We are a locally-owned business in Vancouver BC committed to preserving our environment. We recycle 100% of everything we receive, working with Canadian Mattress Recycling to make sure every item we get are diverted from landfills.
We pickup furniture from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We service cities including Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Langley, Delta, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Mission, and Abbotsford.
No job is too difficult for us. If you live in an apartment, condo, townhome, or single family home – we can help you haul away your old furniture.
Recycling Rates
Note that all items should be dry and relatively clean. They should all be free of mould and bugs – we have the right to reject any item we deem non-recyclable. For residential pickups, we charge GST in addition to these fees. If you are interested in dropping off furniture at our recycling facility, we include GST in the price.
You can drop off metal items at our recycling facility for free. Anything metal we pick up will cost an additional $5 for a handling fee.
Old Beds
- Mattress or box spring (dry, all sizes and kind) : $20
- Mattress or box spring (wet but not completely soaked, all sizes and kind): $25
- Adjustable electrical bed or medical bed base: $30
- Adjustable electrical bed or medical bed base with mattress: $50
- Crib-sized mattress: $5
- Foam Topper | 100% foam only, no feathers or other filling, 2 inches thick or less, no cover or any kind: $5
- Wooden crib frame: $10
- 100% wooden headboard: $10
- Upholstered headboard: $15
- Complete, 100% wooden bed frame (must be disassembled): $20
- Bed frame with drawers (Captain’s Bed Frame): $30
- Metal bed frames and headboards: FREE¹
Furniture
- Ottoman (small) or footstool: $10
- Ottoman (large) with storage space: $15
- Office chair or similarly sized chair: $10
- Armchair: $20
- Recliner, swivel chair or chaise lounge: $30
- Love seat (for 2 people): $30
- Couch (for 3 people): $35
- Massage Chairs: $50
- Sofabed or sectional with no reclining parts: $50
- Love seat or couch with reclining parts: $50
- Sectionals with reclining parts or beds: $75+
- Metal furniture and appliances, except fridges, freezers, and propane tank barbecues: FREE¹
Pickup Fees
1 TO 2 ITEMS: $100
Excludes sofabeds, sectionals, and adjustable beds. Recycling fees are extra.
3 TO 4 ITEMS: $110
Or 1 sofabed, reclining sofa, loveseat, massage chair, or small sectional. Recycling fees are extra.
5 ITEMS: $120
Pickups for five standard items. Recycling fees are extra.
6 OR MORE: $10 FOR EACH ITEM AFTER THAT.
ADJUSTABLE, ELECTRIC, OR MEDICAL BEDS: $110
Recycling fees are extra.
Fuel Surcharges
To serve customers who live farther away from our recycling facility, fuel surcharges will be quoted at the time of booking. FSCs range from $15 – $35, depending.
FSCs do not apply to jobs in Vancouver (except UBC), Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond, Surrey, and North Delta.
In order to serve clients farther away from our facility, we apply fuel surcharge fees on the following locations:
+$15 North Vancouver, West Vancouver (up to 22th St), Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Fort Langley, Aldergrove, and Tsawwassen.
+$35 West Vancouver, after 22nd Street, British Properties and Canyon Heights areas, Aldergrove after 264th, Maple Ridge past 232nd Street, Mission, and Abbotsford.
Payments
Payments must be made at the time of pickup by cash or cheque, or in advance by Interac E-Transfer.
Invoices for regular A/P processing are available for commercial pickups.
